What to see

A very popular spot for visitors who come to see the cove and the site is beautiful all year round, so why not pay a visit in autumn or winter when the crowds have gone home…? There are wonderful walks and a picturesque village with plenty of things to do and see.

Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove, spectacular cliff scenery, geological and historical interest. Beautiful wild flowers and butterflies. Includes part of the Dorset coast path south of Wool. 4 miles.

Lulworth Cove Heritage Centre, fascinating displays, local history, smuggling, geology. Free entry. Shop. Open every day, Summer 1st March-1st November 10am-6pm. Rest of year 10am-4pm. Tel: 01929 400587.
