Wool

What to see

Wool has relatively recently grown enormously and the road through is now dominated by modern housing estates. The old village is best seen in Spring Street where a little stream runs alongside the road. Lots of 18th or 19th century cottages, either cob or a mixture of heathstone, limestone or brick continue round to the church of the Holy Rood, which is well worth a visit.
