Corporate Strategy 2009-2014

Purbeck District Council's Corporate Strategy has been
updated. It is a long-term plan for the next five years
(2009-2014) and sets out our corporate priorities for
delivering our vision for Purbeck. This strategy links the
work of the District Council with the priorities identified with
partners through the Dorset
Strategic Partnership and the
Community Plan for Purbeck. |
The strategy contains six corporate priorities to address the
issues that matter most ot the District. Each priority has a
number of targets which are detailed in the attached Corporate
Strategy document.
The priorities are:
- Protecting and enhancing the natural environment
- Meeting the housing needs of local people
- Heling all people access services locally
- Improving the local economy
- Enhancing the quality of life in Purbeck
- Being recognised as an effective, motivated and
customer-focused organisation
