3. What can I do if my recycling box isn’t big enough for all my recyclables?
There is no limit on the amount of recyclable materials that you can put out with your green box. You can use carrier bags or boxes, for any extras, as long as the containers are no bigger than the green box.  It will be picked up as long as the crew can see that it is recycling and it is left alongside your kerbside box.

4. Why don’t you collect plastic bottles?
Currently it is not viable to collect plastic bottles from the kerbside as there are great difficulties in the collection and handling of plastics mostly due to the amount of space they take up on the vehicle.   However, there are Mini and Bulk Bank Recycling Centres throughout the District where you are able to take your plastic bottles. To help reduce the amount of space plastic bottles take up, please remove the cap from the empty bottle and flatten it (by hand or stand on it).
