The Communications and Graphics team within
Purbeck District Council is responsible for communicating vital
information about the Council and its services to the residents of
Purbeck and to regional, national and international audiences.
Our communications are designed to
support and promote the Council’s Corporate Strategy,
2006-2011,
a strategic long-term plan setting out our priorities and targets
for change as part of delivering our vision for Purbeck.

About Purbeck magazine
Launched in May 2006, About Purbeck is
delivered to every home in Purbeck three times a year. The aim of
the magazine is to keep residents fully informed of what’s
happening in the District, provide updates on the latest
development to Council services and tackle relevant local
issues.

Citizens' Panel
Three times a year, a representative group of 3,000 people from
across Dorset complete the Citizens' Panel prepared by Dorset
County Council. Purbeck District Council participates in this
survey, with a section of questions for 500 of its own
residents.
