Activities Galore this Summer at Purbeck Sports Centre

Purbeck Sports Centre has just launched its summer programme which offers a wealth of activities come rain or shine this summer holidays.

From circus skills to swimming and golf, racket sports to climbing there’s plenty to keep the kids amused.  There’s AFC Bournemouth football training and a summer performance camp for budding Hannah Montanas.

The Kool 4 Kidz Holiday Club returns, open weekdays 8.00am until 6.00pm throughout the holiday.  Activities include arts and crafts, swimming and mini sports for the 5s to 8s and athletics, adventure days and it’s a knockout for the 8s to 12s.

There is plenty for adults too, including tennis, pilates, swimming and the fantastic new gym.  The fully-refurbished gym has top-of-the-range Technogym equipment and personalised keys which store training plans and monitor fitness levels.

Work out with the peace of mind that your children are being well looked after in the Sports Centre crèche.  It’s supervised by fully-qualified staff and open 9am until 1pm Monday to Friday.

Michelle Goodman, Sports Centre Operations Manager, said:  “The range of activities offers everyone a great way to let off steam this summer and, don’t forget,

the Sports Centre is taking part in the Government’s 2-year free swimming initiative where over 60s and under 18s can enjoy free swimming during all general public swimming sessions”.

With free parking and long opening hours, everything is on your doorstep – it’s a great way to get fit or just enjoy some fun with the family.”
