Help Conserve Upton Wood

Volunteers are needed to join in with a Conservation Work Day at Upton Wood on Sunday 11 November, starting at 10am.

Organised by the Dorset Countryside Volunteers the aim of the day is to make the area safer and more accessible by removing brambles from the wet heath or widening the main track through the woods.

Volunteers are advised to wear old clothes and sensible footwear and bring their own lunch. Hot drinks, gloves, tools and safety training will be provided on the day.

Children over 11 years are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
