Application Forms
On this page you will now find the new standard application
forms along with a copy of the 'Biodiversity Checklist' and any
'Notices' which you may need. There are no longer separate
forms for applying for permission. For example,
with the old forms you would have sent in one set
of application forms for planning permission and one
set for listed building consent. These are now all
on one form. Please read the forms on this page, to
find the correct one that you require. If you have any
problems deciding which forms you need or have any other
questions.

Please note that Purbeck District Council will require the
submission of 4 (Four) copies of all the
documentation for an application as set out in our document of
local requirements
Certificate of Ownership
Certificates of ownership are now included in the new
forms. If your application includes the agricultural
certificate, please make sure you fill in the details on this
section as well.
Design and Access Statement
Almost all planning applications and listed building
applications when submitted to the local planning authority, must
be accompanied by a Design and Access Statement. In the
absence of a satisfactory statement, the application will not be a
valid application and will not be registered. The only
applications exempt from these provisions are; Changes
in use of land or buildings, unless involving operational
development, engineering or mining operations and domestic
alterations that are not in a Conservation Area or the Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty.
