The new strategy is aligned with the Dorset Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty Management Plan and contains an
action plan for the work of the Purbeck Heritage Committee to
implement between 2009 and 2014.
The strategy underwent widespread consultation with local
residents, and local and national agencies.
The main chapters take key themes and consider these in more
detail. Each chapter includes a description of the resource, issues
and opportunities and links to the
Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Management Plan and
Purbeck Community Partnership Plan. At the end
of the document, the action plan shows the projects and areas
of work to be implemented by the committee and it's partners.
