There are many rewarding sections that can be walked, some
not too strenuous and the views are outstanding - just follow the
waymarked acorn signs. Most of the Coast Path is classed as
footpath (walkers only), there are only certain sections
classed as bridleway (walkers, cyclists and horse riders) -
see the latest Ordnance
Survey maps for details (external link).
Why not combine walking with a boat trip
or ride on the X53
Coastlink Bus to see the Jurassic Coast from all angles.
The rest of the South West Coast Path, (Britain’s longest
trail), carries on to Minehead in Somerset, some 630
miles away. |
